I am actively seeking people to present for the Thursday morning sharathon. It will basically be a series of simultaneous poster sessions. Think science fair :-). I have a number of informal commitments, but I need more people. Each presentation will be >30 minutes and be a specific example of a technology-enhanced lesson. The idea is to get as diverse a group of lessons as possible, representing a wide variety of technologies and strategies (clickers, smart board, webquests, virtual tours, digital storytelling, multimedia projects, educational simulations, video games in the classroom, educational blogging, wikis, pod/vodcasting, mind mapping software, etc.).
So, any tips of people to contact?
In addition, I need to create a proposal submission for and I want to put it on this site. I just emailed Jon Laabs about getting a copy of the official LEA proposal submission form. We should be able to use much/most of that. Jack, are you ready to help me turn that into a form for this site? :-)
In addition, I have a vision for a large open space with a big screen and sound system. This will be for the pep talk presentation. Then there will be six tables scattered around the room, each with speakers, a 23ish inch LCD flat panel, and a laptop.
We will also have little clips on the big screen between the 5-minute transition periods. Everything involved will have a little passport and some riddles to solve. That will lead to some prizes at the end.
Other ideas?
