The Prize

The Bozo Awards

Lots of traditions have grown up over the years, one of which is awards, something I began about 15 years ago.  Largest fish, smallest fish, weirdest catch, best hand of cards, a traveling trophy with little plaques on it to keep track of the biggest game fish from each year's retreat.  And, of course, The Bozo Award.

The Celebration!

Then she brought me over to meet Bradley - tiny, perfect and all in blue.  And while I sat in amazement looking at the new child, Hayden went off to gather more people:  her teacher, my secretary, other moms dropping their kids off for Preschool, the Preschool Aide...  Everyone had to gather in the hallway and meet Bradley - we had an impromptu birthday party!  It was a wonder!!
