One Sunday night our team was bowling against Wif's, and Diane had a very good first game.  The second game started out even better, but as she leaned over to pick up her ball from the ball return to start the third frame, Wif, who was sitting next to me at the scorer's table, asked me, "Does she always do that with her right hand when she releases the ball?"  You know, of course, that he said it just loud enough for Diane to hear him.

They ask my sister-in-law if it's right for a principal to say something like that.  She assures them it is O.K. because I'm "off duty."  Well, I'm not sure that's exactly what she said, but I do know she used the word "off."
 

Do you have people in your congregation who drive you a little bit crazy with the things they say?  Of course you do.  God is merciful - He didn't put them all in my congregation!
 

"Coyote?  We have coyotes in Michigan?  In our ravine?  But this is a neighborhood!"
