The ‘Right’ Way

This wise old principal was a good person who faithfully loved and served his Lord, but I couldn’t agree with his reasoning. Not everyone does what they do for what we might call the ‘right’ reason. Over the years, I’ve had people tell me the right (and wrong) way to do just about everything, even pray.  Mostly pray, in fact.  And I know they all meant well.

But the question she posed reminded me of a time in 5th grade back at Golgotha Lutheran School on Chicago's South Side.  It was probably about 1963.  My teacher, Miss Wilcer, one of the most creative teachers I ever had, brought in Michelob beer bottles for an art lesson.

Lost and Found
