Chocolate Pudding

I had the "opportunity" to serve Hot Lunch today.  How does that happen?  Well, it starts at about 6:00 a.m. when Mrs. S, our 2nd grade teacher, calls in sick.  Then you get Mrs. J to sub for her, but before school can start, Mrs. J has to cancel because of a sick child and then Mrs. W has to sub for Mrs. J who was going to sub for the 2nd grade teacher and that means somebody has to sub for Mrs. W who was scheduled to help with Hot Lunch today and that somebody is me.  Follow all that?

They gave me apple sauce to serve today because two weeks ago when I helped out, they had me serve the chocolate pudding and we ran out because I love pudding, especially chocolate pudding, and figured kids do, too,...and so I gave out lots of pudding which was fine with the kids, but Karl and Mary Ann, our cooks, don't care for me to...

Anyway, I think that is why they gave me apple sauce to serve today.
